NSJF plusar award -2011

I got chance to see mega event NSJF pulsar award 2011,

this even is host by NSJF( Nepal Sports journalist forum) and this even was organised on kamaladi Nepal Academy Hall.

This is not only one event but this is honor, pride what get chance to be part of this even.
As our Honorable president says " Country is in not good condition, its country's responsibility to honor country's son, please accept this award from behalf of country"

Boxer Deepak Maharjan and footballer Jamuna Gurung won the top honours of the NSJF’s Pulsar Sports Award here at the Nepal Academy Hall today. While Deepak and Jamuna won the Male and Female Player of the Year awards, cricketer Nary Thapa (Youth Player of the Year), volleyball player Sipora Gurung (Popular Player of the Year), Prachanda Sharma (Coach of the Year), table tennis coach Ramesh Raj Joshi (Lifetime Achievement), football coach/manager duo Dilip Rai and Bhagirath Ale (Special Award) and cricketer Bikram Bahadur Rana (Para-athlete of the Year) were the other winners of the prestigious Award.


Male and Female, winners in other six categories were awarded with Rs 30,000 each from Mega Excellence series along with DishHome DTH, Timex watch, one-year free health check-up from College of Medical Sciences and Teaching Hospital, Mountain flight ticket from Buddha Air, website hosting and internet facilities with one-year free subscription from Cherry World Communication, and carpet from New Horizon Carpets. The nominees received trophies, Timex sports watches and John Players gift hampers.

I compare this award as Laureus world sports award for nepal in world stage.
